Cassandra Complex

Well hello there, gentle travler. I have no idea how you ended up on my corner of the internet, but I welcome you nonetheless. Allow me to introduce myself, you can call me Heron (or Scylla, or Medusa, or Medea, or the countless other names I've used over the years). I am a disabled trans dyke from NYC, I'm 25, and I use it/hyr/maw/gore/hymn/vyr/rot/boar pronouns. I am an artist, writer, wannabe graffiti writer, off-brand Oracle, non-human menace, and professional yapper.

I made this website in a bt of a rush to prepare for OtherCon 2025 (in about three days, never let it be said I am not a chronic procrastinator) so I would have some sort of semblence of a website despite knowing nothing about code. Ergo, I apologize for it being a bit bare-bones. I hope to keep building on this place in the future, so please don't give up on me just yet!!

I suppose I should give you a bit of a brief rundown! I am an AuDHD cripple with C-PTSD & DID (all professionally dx'd) who identifies with nonhumanity. I do not engage much with the otherhuman or system communities, so OtherCon is me dipping my toes in!!

As for the nonhumanity part, I'll go more into that in "about me", but to give a quick summary. I identify with hyenas (all species), and many other creatures!. I don't really know or use much as far as specific terminology to describe my connections, as I have kept my nonhuman journey and experiences pretty singular and haven't really enaged with the community much until now.
